Friday night is alive in Claremont

There’s nothing like going out to dinner to relax, listening to music on a warm summer evening. Claremont’s free live music series, Friday Nights Live, is alive and well as sweet sounds can be heard on select street corners in the Village. Last Friday the Amanda Castro Band was at Laemmle plaza; Adrienne Selina at the Chamber of Commerce; Honey Buckets at city hall; and Starlite at Shelton Park. Performances were from 6 to 9 p.m. You can get more info is at claremontchamber.org. This Friday more music is scheduled from local artists in the Claremont area. COURIER photo/Peter Weinberger
