Search dog training in the Village

Members of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Search and Recue team along with law enforcement personnel conduct search dog training on Wednesday in Claremont. The search and recue team’s dog Dillon, an eight-year-old Labrador, was practicing the skills he uses on a missing person case by tracking a volunteer hiding somewhere in the Village. The dog is used for many different types of missing person cases like a lost hiker or an Alzheimer’s patient who has wandered off. COURIER photo/Steven Felschundneff
