No on CR community event

A No on Measure CR community event, hosted by Transparent Claremont, will take place at the home of Gary and Donna Lowe, 1495 Via Zurita St., in Claremont on Saturday, September 14 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Voters are invited to stop by to mingle and talk with residents who are frustrated with the “constant barrage of tax-and-spend politicians and city officials.”

“We believe the answer is to live within our means,” organizers say. “The city will tell you that 10.25 percent is the cap on sales tax, they are wrong! Keep Claremont affordable and an attractive place to shop, eat, and get entertained.”

Light hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served.
