Casa Colina’s Harvest Festival a blast for kids of all ages
On a beautiful sunny day, fall and fun were in the air Saturday, October 19 at the Casa Colina Harvest Festival. More than 350 members of the community, including children with acquired and developmental disabilities and their families, turned out to play games, compare costumes, and enjoy dancing, train rides, ice cream, and more.
Held annually at Casa Colina Hospital and Centers for Healthcare in Pomona, Harvest Festival offers a safe, wholesome environment for children with special needs to gather and celebrate their abilities. All proceeds support the Casa Colina Children’s Services Center, which helps these children improve language, cognition, socialization, and gross and fine motor skills to achieve new milestones with peers, teachers, and their families.
