Claremont police initially thought they had stopped stolen car in Claraboya, but the driver apparently had found the car himself. The silver Honda was pulled over around 6:30 p.m. at Mountain and Via Santa Catarina around 6:30 p.m. after police determined it had been stolen out of Pomona. But the driver of the car told police he had found his stolen car in Pomona by himself. He said he called Pomona Police once he found the car, but it was still in the stolen car database. An ID check backed up his claim, and the car was officially removed from the database.
