Goodbye summer, winter weather arriving
Looking west over the Wilderness Park and Claraboya, you might think summer will never end. But it’s probably safe to say after high temperatures Monday reached the upper 80s, our summer-like weather will move on as a cold front (by Southern California standards) arrives Wednesday, dropping temperatures by over 30 degrees. Tuesday will be nice with highs around 70 early on, but clouds will thicken and rain will drop as the afternoon turns to evening. The rain will continue into Wednesday, with temperatures topping out around 57. Lows will be in the 40s. Don’t be surprised if we see a thunderstorm or two. The good news is the sun will return by the weekend, with clear skies and daytime temperatures around 70. COURIER photo/Peter Weinberger
