City hall shut down after employees report flu symptoms

Claremont City Hall was closed on Monday after some employees in the building reported feeling flu like symptoms, according to an announcement on the city’s Facebook page.

In response the employees were tested for COVID-19 and are awaiting results. All other city employees have been sent home.

Until the results are in, city hall is closed to the public and all services will be conducted online or by phone. Trash pickup the senior meal program, maintenance, and public safety will continue.
