Claremont police stop drivers heading north on Mount Baldy Road while a with Angeles National Forest fire crew passes on the left on Friday evening north of Claremont. A fire was reported in the canyon above Shinn Road in late afternoon which prompted authorities to close the road. The COURIER has called both fire and police officials for more information.
