One of the largest California oaks at Oak Park Cemetery fell in the wind storm last week. The tree is located in one of the older areas of the cemetery that has large upright headstones, however, it is unknown if there was any damage because the tree has not been removed. The city has contacted its tree maintenance contractor to remove the old oak, but West Coast Arborist crews are busy cleaning up other fallen trees throughout the area.
