CEF kicks off annual car raffle with a twist
The annual partnership between the Claremont Educational Foundation (CEF) and Claremont
Toyota just got a little more interesting. For ten years, Claremont Toyota has generously donated
a brand new Toyota Prius to CEF to raise funds for Claremont schools. This year, the team has
switched it up, replacing the traditional Prius with a 2021 Toyota Rav4, complete with an
Outdoor Adventure package that includes a National Park Annual Pass, Osprey outdoor gear and
more.
“We’re holding the raffle on June 5th, right as the 2020-21 school year ends. It’s the perfect time
to take the Rav 4 on the road with a National Park Annual Pass in hand to see America – your
next adventure awaits!” says CEF raffle chair, Julia Zuker-Brunzell.
“Claremont Toyota is proud to have been supporting Claremont’s public schools for ten years.
It’s important to us to give back to the community, especially this year when the District has
encountered so many unforeseen expenses,” explained Claremont Toyota’s Director of
Philanthropy, Jane D’Amelio.
Last year, CEF raised more than $28K through the raffle. The funding goes to support art, music
and technology at every Claremont public school. Tickets are $20 each or 6 for $100 and are
available through school offices, booster groups, Claremont Toyota, Vom Fass, Covey Gardens,
or by reaching out to info@supportcef.com. For more information go to

The Claremont Educational Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to support and
protect quality public education in Claremont through community involvement.
