Claremont voters take to the polls Tuesday

Claremont residents will return to the polls tomorrow to partake in the city’s latest municipal election. Three candidates vie for 2 open seats on the Claremont City Council: active resident Michael Keenan and incumbents Corey Calaycay and Larry Schroeder.

The polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., at which time vote tabulation will begin at the City Council Chamber, 225 W. Second St. Locate your polling place by visiting

Those unable to make it out to the polls tomorrow are invited to take part in the election a day early. The city clerk will be taking votes today, Monday, March 4, between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. at City Hall, 207 N. Harvard Ave. For more information on Claremont’s election, call 399-5461 or 399-5463.
