AARP and Joslyn Senior Center team up for driving course
The AARP invites those 55 and older to take part in a new classroom-based defensive driving course designed for those seeking to sharpen their driving skills. The class will meet on Wednesday and Thursday, March 13 and 14, from 8 a.m. to noon at the Joslyn Senior Center.
In addition to providing a sharpened skillset, the AARP is throwing in a little incentive. Those who complete 8 hours of instruction with be awarded a DMV certificate entitling the participant to a discount on their automobile insurance. The class is $14 per person, but a discount will be given to AARP members. To sign up or for more information, contact the Joslyn Center at 399-5488. The Joslyn Center is located at 660 N.
