College Avenue, between First Street and the Metrolink tracks, will be closed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 9 and 10.

Maintenance crews will be working to remove 6 trees adjacent to the tracks. The removal is needed to “create an open line-of-sight for the microwave communication network as required by the Southern California Regional Rail Authority (SCRRA) passenger safety enhancement initiative,” according to a city news release.
