Soaring spring temperatures are a less than subtle reminder that the summer season is around the corner. With summer already on the mind, Claremont’s Community and Human Services Department has released the 2013 Summer Recreation & Activities Guide, available now at locations throughout the city.

The seasonal guide highlights local workshops, classes and social activities provided by the city of Claremont, taking place from June through August. Activities range from the city-sponsored Fourth of July celebration to summer camps and a list of hours for the wading pool at El Barrio, Memorial and Wheeler Parks.
