Connoisseurs of traveling restaurants will be delighted to hear about Food Truck Thursdays at the Pomona Fairplex. Each week, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., an array of food trucks roll into Fairplex’s lower administration parking lot next to the NHRA Museum, bringing the trendiest dishes on 4 wheels (enter through Gate 1).

The convergence of fancy food trucks conveniently coincides with Fairplex’s Farmer’s Market, so you can grab some dinner and pick up fresh produce. Admission and parking for Food Truck Thursdays—which feature open mic entertainment as well as karaoke, dancing and trivia—is free. Check the Fairplex website (www.fairplex.com) each week to see which mobile eateries are on tap.

Featured food trucks on Thursday, July 18 are as follows: Wood Fire Pizza, Macho Nacho, Trailer Park Truck, German Brats and The Lobos Truck. On Thursday, July 25, Food Truck Thursdays will feature Chuk n Chip; Cousins Main Lobster; Me So Hungry; The Fry Girl Inc, Torta 2 Die 4 and Calbi BBQ.
