The moon was an easy sight to notice right after sunset Monday as seen here from Moab Drive in Claremont. Because a full moon always rises at sunset, another sighting is due after 7:09 p.m. tonight. The sky clearly will be darker because each moonrise occurs 50 minutes later than the previous day.
