Picture perfect day

Brad Senkle, from Astreteck, LLC in Rancho Cucamonga, spent Monday with his partner servicing various license plate recognition cameras (ALPR) around the edges of Claremont. Contracted by the city of Claremont, some of the cameras were getting a new computer controlled power source for increased reliability. This will also enable the city to spot cameras that need repair, and even reset them from city hall. Most intersections will get 2-3 cameras upgraded, such as this one on Base Line Road and Padua Avenue. COURIER photo/Peter Weinberger
