West Coast Arborist, the city’s tree maintenance contractor, will be providing mulch to residents on Saturday, October 19 at Cahuilla Park, located at Scripps Drive and Indian Hill Boulevard. Mulch will be available on a first come, first served basis, beginning at 6 a.m. Residents will need to bring all equipment necessary to load and transport the mulch. The city offers this free mulch to Claremont residents six times a year in an effort to close the recycling loop.
