Wilderness Park, parking and Pooch Park schedules

The Claremont Hills Wilderness Park is closed through Friday, November 26. This closure is in response to a Red Flag warning issued by the National Weather Service. The park is scheduled to reopen Saturday, November 27. The closure may be extended if conditions do not improve. The Pooch Park reopening is Wednesday, December 1 following a maintenance and re-establishment period. As a reminder, doggie waste bags are not provided at the Pooch Park. Please make sure to pick up after your dogs. Thank you for keeping the park clean!

The Claremont Police Department wants to remind residents to get an overnight parking exemption if you are having guests over during the holidays. The City prohibits parking on City streets from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. Residents can request three exemptions per month if they have an overnight parking issue. Overnight parking permits are NOT required this Thursday night/Friday morning in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. You may park your vehicle on the street without obtaining an exemption on Friday, November 26 from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. (you may park on the street Thursday night, November 25 to the evening of Friday, November 26). Happy Thanksgiving!
