Annual Making Change contest entries due January 31
It’s that time of year again: the City of Claremont and Claremont Unified School District invite students to participate in the annual Making Change contest.
The 35th edition of the contest gives students a chance to highlight Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and other champions of human rights and social justice, according to a news release.
Kindergarten students through high school seniors who live or attend school in Claremont are invited to submit letters, essays, multimedia presentations, or artistic works — solo or in groups. Entries must be submitted by Friday, January 31 through the grade level’s appropriate JotForm link.
Winners from the individual categories will be presented with a $100 check and a certificate from the city and CUSD at an awards ceremony on February 24.
