City budget survey is live, meetings upcoming

As part of the Claremont City Council’s development of a list of objectives and work items to guide staff’s work plan for the 2024-2026 budget cycle development process, a citywide survey is being conducted at surveymonkey.com/r/2QJ2T2P through Friday, December 15.

All are invited to complete the survey and to attend upcoming community outreach sessions, virtually at 6 p.m. Tuesday, December 5 and Wednesday, December 13. The 6 p.m., Thursday, January 25, 2024, session will be conducted in person at the Alexander Hughes Community Center, 1700 Danbury Rd., Claremont.

On Saturday, January 27, 2024, a city council priorities workshop will take place at 9 a.m. at the council chamber, 225 W. Second St. with an opportunity for in-person public comment. All public comments received via the survey and during the community outreach sessions will be shared with the city council prior to the January 27 workshop. Updates will be shared at ci.claremont.ca.us/living/council-priorities.
