Tunnelworks Services, Inc., Claremont’s contracted sewer service, began repairing the city’s system Tuesday and work is set to continue through the month. Maintenance will consist of a complete sewer cleaning, video recording, as well as lining and repairing defective portions of the sewer mainline.

Impacted residents will be notified at least 48-hours in advance and asked to refrain from water usage as much as possible while work is being conducted. The lining work can take between 8 to 10 hours per location and typically occurs between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
