Claremont Lincoln University to launch new leadership initiative
Claremont Lincoln University and the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy are preparing to launch the Lincoln Vibrant Communities Fellows Program, a novel initiative “for public sector leaders aiming to enhance their leadership skills and to address the most pressing issues facing cities—housing, climate, land, water, finance, infrastructure — to build thriving, sustainable communities,” a news release read. The program’s inaugural cohort of fellows was announced in early July and will host a kick-off event in Chicago in September.
“Preparing leaders to find solutions to any issues or challenges communities encounter is a driving goal of the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy and Claremont Lincoln University,” said CLU President and CEO Dr. Lynn Priddy. “With Lincoln Vibrant Communities, we are specifically focusing on giving civic leaders the tools, resources, and connections they need to tackle these complex challenges head-on.”
