At 8 a.m. Saturday, April 27, KidCare International hosts its third annual charity 5K run and walk at Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park, 120 E. Via Verde Ave., San Dimas. Check-in opens at 6:30 and an awards ceremony begins at 9:15. Registration is $50 per runner and parking is $12 at kidcare.org. Groups of six or more can text (909) 967-4644 for a discount.

Proceeds from this event will help KidCare International, a Claremont-based nonprofit, with ongoing humanitarian projects in the Inland Empire and Tanzania.
