March events at La Verne Historical Society

The La Verne Historical Society hosts UC Riverside, history professor Steven Hackel at Hillcrest La Verne’s Meeting House, 2705 Mountain View Dr., at 7 p.m. Monday, March 11 for a free and open to the public talk about the lives of Indigenous persons during the time of Spanish colonization, and the various California missions that emerged as a result.

On Saturday, March 23, during the City of La Verne’s 9 a.m. to noon “eggcellent adventure” event, LVHS’s 1938 International truck, loaded with chocolate eggs and toys, will be onsite at Heritage Park, 5001 Vía De Mansion, La Verne.
