Claremont Manor introduced Robert Barton as its new director on July 10 in a meeting with more than 100 residents and staffers at a session at Manor Hall.

Barton spent about 45 minutes fielding a wide variety of questions ranging from his style of communication to recent budget concerns. He was introduced by Randy Herzig, current interim chief representing Front Porch, which owns Claremont Manor.

Barton succeeds Greg Hirst, who left in March.
