Ontario library looking for young artists
Young people in grades seven through 12 who attend school or live in Ontario are invited to submit poetic, graphic design-based, drawn, painted and/or mixed media works for Ontario’s Ink and Imagination Teen Art and Literature Showcase. Submissions may be dropped at Ovitt Family Community Library, 215 E. C St., Ontario, from February 1-22.
Submissions must be in 8-by-10-, 9-by-12-, or 16-by-20-inch format, and may not exceed two inches in protrusion or feature any degradable materials such as food waste. Poems must be submitted on a letter-sized Word document, double-spaced, one-page maximum, and emailed to ecordts@ontarioca.gov.
Winners will be displayed in March at the Ovitt Family Community Library.
