Vineyard Touring Opera Company, a nonprofit company based in Claremont, presents “Opera From the Movies and More” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, August 3 at the Woman’s Club of Claremont clubhouse, 343 W. 12th St. The free and open to the public event features music from “The Godfather III,” “Mission Impossible,” “Ruby Sparks,” “Bad Santa,” “A Room with a View,” and others.

Performers include Natalie Salins, soprano; Eric Castro, baritone; Megan Gillespie, mezzo; and James Salazar, tenor, accentuated by accompanist Yooki Kim.
