Pomona police, KGI team up to bring toys to hospitalized kids

The Pomona Police Department and Keck Graduate Institute have teamed up to bring holiday cheer to children at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center.

On Monday, December 18, PPD Sergeant Stacy Paraska, Community Services Officer Courtney Louie and K-9 units Tuckerman and Scout along with KGI physician assistant students will bring toys to hospitalized children at the hospital’s pediatric unit.

The toys were donated at PPD’s annual stuff-a-cruiser event and KGI’s drive, which was sponsored by its Women in STEM Club, Pomona Free ClinicMaster of Science in Physician Assistant Studies PA Summer Success Program Club, as well as the national nonprofit organization Latino Medical Student Association.
