Scripps Fine Arts Foundation kicks off programming

The free lectures and events hosted by Scripps Fine Arts Foundation begin anew Wednesday, September 13, with a 2 p.m. lunch, tea and presentation at Claremont United Church of Christ, 233 Harrison Ave., from fiber artist Robin Ossentjuk, a Scripps College alumna of 2017 and granddaughter of Claremont artist Martha Underwood.

Programming runs through May 2024 at various locations and will include presentations by Stephanie Soldner in November and conservator Brian Worley next spring. Other programs include Disney Imagineer Marcella Swett on creating chalk art for festivals. Visit scripps-faf.org for more info and online membership registration.

Members receive monthly announcements by mail and an invitation to the annual January members’ lunch. Membership fees fund SFAF programming and art scholarships.
