‘The Great Perfection’ up at CLMA

The Great Perfection: Charles Long & Khang Bảo Nguyễn,” at Claremont Lewis Museum of Art, 200 W. First St., Claremont, is up through Sunday, August 18.

Curated by Associate Director of Exhibitions and Collections Seth Pringle, the installation showcases Pomona-based sculptor Charles Long and painter and scholar Khang Bảo Nguyễn and “their approaches to the aesthetic expression of nondual consciousness,” according to a news release.

“In a world that seems more fractured and disconnected than ever, cast sculptures by Charles Long juxtaposed with abstract paintings by Khang Bảo Nguyễn lead the viewer to consider the underlying oneness of all beings,” reads the release.

CLMA is open from noon to 4 p.m. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Admission is $5 Saturday and Sunday, free on Fridays.
