Volunteers needed for February 19 homeless count
Volunteers are needed for the 2025 Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count, which will take place in Claremont from 7 p.m. to midnight Wednesday, February 19. The count, coordinated in partnership with the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority, was originally set for late January but was postponed due to wildfires.
Data collected during the count helps with the allocation of homeless resources and services throughout Los Angeles County.
Volunteers can register at count.lahsa.org. They will receive training, materials and assignments on the day of the count at Alexander Hughes Community Center, 1700 Danbury Rd., Claremont.
The count will be conducted from private vehicles. Routes are expected to take two to three hours to complete.
