Charles W. Freitas, a longtime Claremont resident and educator with the Claremont Unified School District, died in peace and love on Saturday, April 16. “Chuck” served CUSD as a teacher, coach, creator of the Claremont Adult School, principal of Sycamore and Condit elementary schools, culminating his career as director of student services.
