Founding dean

The Keck Graduate Institute (KGI) community is hosting a gathering on Wednesday, January 9 to celebrate the life of Kathy Webster, who died in ecember 2018 after a brave battle with cancer.

Ms. Webster had been the Founding Dean of KGI’s School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences since 2013, KGI said. The graduate institute described her as, “a visionary leader and a genuine innovator in higher education.”

Ms. Webster successfully led the school from candidate to accredited status.

“Kathy’s incredible energy and dedication made her vision for the school’s future a reality,” KGI shared.

The Community Support Gathering will be held Wednesday, January 9 from noon to 1 p.m. in the Founders Room (Building 517), located at 517 Watson Dr. in Claremont.
