Thief returns to scene of crime…you know what happens

In yet another in the long line of Blotter blurbs featuring the violation of the number one rule of criminality, on Sunday, December 13 Claremont PD arrested Delcenore Dunford at the Chevron/McDonald’s at 8:20 a.m. after he returned to the scene of his alleged crime. After being asked to leave the store at 860 S. Indian Hill Blvd. earlier that morning due to loitering, Mr. Dunford, 33, from Walnut, returned, and cops were called. A CPD officer determined Mr. Dunford was high on an unknown drug, and a search allegedly turned up some food items police suspect were stolen from the market, presumably during his previous visit. So, Mr. Dunford was arrested on the three misdemeanor charges, booked, and released with a citation to appear in court.
