Lionel Messi, Tom Brady, Michael Jordan.

These people are the best at what they do. When you think of Messi, you think of soccer. Everyone thinks Messi is the best at soccer. Or maybe some people think Ronaldo is the best, but you can’t argue that Messi is not one of the best players in soccer. Everyone is excited about the World Cup that’s coming up. I’m also excited, but Messi said this will be his last World Cup. Isn’t that sad? I can’t imagine soccer without him.

It’s kind of like when Michael Jordan retired. You don’t even have to be a fan of basketball to know who Michael Jordan is. Michael Jordan is one of the best at basketball. It’s also like that with Tom Brady and football. He will retire soon, and for good. These people are a gift to the world. Every sport has the best of the best, and when they retire it’s like the sport loses its meaning.

I am a huge soccer fan. My family is from Argentina, so I will be devastated when Messi retires, as will soccer lovers everywhere. I can’t imagine watching soccer and not watching Messi play. What is really fun to watch are the amazing moments when he jukes someone out and they fall on the ground, or the amazing goals that he’s scored.

Let’s all cheer for Messi and his last World Cup.

For you, Messi, The GOAT!
