Perfect spring weather in Claremont

It was a busy weekend in Claremont, including prep work for May 13 and 14 graduation ceremonies at the Colleges, a Claremont-Mudd-Scripps/Pomona-Pitzer softball doubleheader, and local students taking part in Claremont Lewis Museum of Art’s ARTstART program. More Claremont Colleges commencement information is here.

The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps softball team swept a doubleheader with Pomona-Pitzer Saturday, 2-0, 2-0. Both teams managed just seven and nine hits combined, respectively, in both games. The Athenas’ Hannah Adams, pictured, pitched a complete game three-hit shutout in game one. The Athenas and Sagehens finish regular season play May 12 in front of the SAIAC tournament.
