Temple Beth Israel is hosting a celebration this Sunday to honor Deborah Pruitt for her 30 years of service to the preschool.

Not only that, but a proclamation was issued by the LA County board of supervisors, which stated in part:

“Since her leadership at the preschool began in 1989, Deborah has helped shape the lives of children from well over one thousand families, providing a caring, creative and safe learning environment that fosters growth and development for her young students and their families, both emotionally and intellectually.”

The community is invited to the TBI social hall, 3033 N. Towne Ave. in Pomona, this Sunday, September 15, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the celebration. The event is complimentary and kids are welcome.

Ms. Pruitt told the COURIER that she might retire someday but is still enjoying her job.
