All fun and games at Condit
Upper grade students at Condit Elementary School try out the school’s brand new playground following a ribbon cutting celebration on Monday. The new play equipment, which includes slides, swings, a climbing wall and a sunshade, was officially unveiled just before morning recess. During the five month construction, most of the campus was fenced off and recreation was limited to a small black top area. The students were not told the playground would open this week so when the assembly was announced it created a great deal of excitement. The work is part of a Measure G funded makeover at Condit that includes new classrooms and other upgrades. COURIER photo/Steven Felschundneff
