Claremont Colleges remain closed to the public…for now

Some facilities are available to students, faculty and staff on a limited basis
With the County of Los Angeles’ recent move into the red tier under the State of California’s COVID-19 reopening framework, The Claremont Colleges welcome the reopening possibilities including the potential return of students to residential housing as early as this summer pending County approval. While residential life is still not currently permitted, The Claremont Colleges are opening select facilities for use by students, faculty and staff. In keeping with County guidelines, facilities and the campus properties remain closed to the public. Select institutions will allow facilities use by our campus communities using an internal reservation system.

For the safety of our entire community, only specifically authorized students, faculty, staff and vendors are currently allowed on campus. We look forward to welcoming the community back on to campus when conditions will safely allow it. The Claremont Colleges have long enjoyed and appreciated its special place in the community and its ability to be shared with our neighbors. As responsible members of the community with an interest in being good neighbors, we are obligated to limit access to the facilities and property of the Colleges in support of county public health efforts.
