The free and open to the public Pomona Holiday Parade is set for 5 p.m., Saturday, December 9, rain or shine. Following the parade, the free annual Holiday at the Plaza event will begin at Shaun Diamond Plaza, 171 W. Second St., and run until 9 p.m.

A Claremont couple, frustrated after a stranger began using their address to register his businesses, now think they may be unwitting and unwilling participants in some type of fraud, and are perplexed at their inability to get help from the California Secretary of State’s office. The pair claim someone they have never met, who quite possibly is not even a person, is using their Claremont address to register a limited liability corporation and attempting to interfere with the delivery of mail at their home.
