Chamber hosts lunch program, discussion on healthcare reform
The Claremont Chamber of Commerce hosts “Healthcare Reform: What does it mean for your small business” at its next lunch and learn event on Wednesday, January 31 from noon to 2 p.m.
The program, which is geared toward small business owners, begins at noon with the screening of the film, Fix It:?Healthcare at the Tipping Point.
University of La Verne Campus Center, 1950 Third St., third floor, ballroom A, in La Verne.
Expert panelists include Dan Geiger, co-director of Business Alliance for a Healthy California and Deborah Freund from Claremont Graduate University’s School of Social Science, Policy and Evaluation, and professor of economic sciences.
The film screening begins at 12:10 p.m., followed by the panel discussion at 12:45 p.m. Time for a Q and A is set aside at 1:10 p.m. as well as an optional networking session from 1:30 to 2 p.m.
